Ancient sounds fill the room and touch the hearts as TREFOIL, a high-energy four-piece band, plays traditional and contemporary music from Ireland, Great Britain, and the US. A solid guitar backs fiddle, wooden flute, whistles, and uilleann pipes featuring Jim Groth, Yuko Saito, Carol Skallerud, and Jill Groth, with vocals as well.
Among Trefoil's performances are South Dakota Public Broadcasting's Deadwood Songbook, Dakota Gathering of the Clans, and the Friends of Traditional Music Irish Night. With a love to entertain, Trefoil performs concerts, festivals, pub gigs, weddings, ceilis, special occasions and events.
